London Area, United Kingdom Chambers of Amir Khan Wali Full time £60,000 - £80,000 per year

Career Opportunity for Director of Communications

Title: Director of Communications

Report To: Aamir Khan Wali, Esq. (Principal)

Location: New Delhi, India, with a global purview

The Mission

The Chambers of Aamir Khan Wali does not merely practice law; we shape the legal landscape. In a world where perception is a strategic asset and reputation is the ultimate currency, we are seeking the architect of our voice.

We are not a law firm. We are a strategic command in high-stakes international law. Our battles are fought in arbitration centres and courtrooms across the APAC & EMEA regions, but they are won through clarity, credibility, and compelling narrative.

This role is for the storyteller, the brand guardian, and the strategist who will translate our formidable legal expertise into an unmistakable global presence.

Your Theatre of Operations

As our first dedicated Director of Communications, you will be the mastermind behind our public identity. Your mission is to craft, control, and amplify the Chambers' narrative across all platforms.

I. Strategic Narrative & Brand Sovereignty:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy that positions the Principal and the Chambers as a thought leader in international dispute resolution.
  • Craft the distinctive voice of the Chambers—authoritative, insightful, and forward-thinking—across all content, from long-form articles to social media.
  • Act as the chief editor and quality control for all external-facing materials, ensuring every word reflects our standard of excellence.

II. Content Warfare & Thought Leadership:

  • Lead the creation and deployment of high-impact content: articles, white papers, case commentaries, and newsletters that set the agenda in our practice areas.
  • Architect and manage the grand launch of our new website, ensuring it serves as a definitive digital flagship for our brand.
  • Spearhead our submissions to legal directories like The Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners, crafting narratives that secure our position as a top-tier practice.

III. Digital Presence & Public Engagement:

  • Command our digital footprint: manage and grow our presence on professional platforms like LinkedIn, transforming our social channels into a destination for legal insight.
  • Protect and enhance the reputation of the Chambers, serving as the first line of defence in the digital sphere.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key legal journalists and influencers to amplify our reach.

The Profile We Seek:

  • You are a strategic thinker who sees communications as a core component of business development and brand equity.
  • Your writing is not just correct—it is compelling, adaptable, and powerful. You can distill complex legal strategies into accessible, authoritative prose.
  • You are digitally native, with a proven track record of building a brand's presence online.
  • You understand the nuances and discretion required in a top-tier legal practice. You are a guardian of confidentiality.
  • You are a self-starter who thrives on autonomy and possesses the intellectual curiosity to engage with complex legal subject matter.
  • A sense of humour and the ability to thrive in a high-intensity, lean team are non-negotiable.

The Spoils of War:

  • The opportunity to build a global communications function from the ground up, with autonomy and trust from day one.
  • A front-row seat to groundbreaking international legal disputes and the chance to shape the conversation around them.
  • A competitive, industry-standard compensation package commensurate with your expertise and impact.
  • The unique satisfaction of being the definitive voice behind a practice that is changing the game.

Ready to Deploy?

If you are ready to be the architect of our narrative, submit your campaign dossier—your CV, a cover letter outlining your strategic vision, and relevant writing samples—to

The Chambers of Aamir Khan Wali is where the law is not simply upheld. It is unleashed. And we need you to command the narrative.
