Pause Cat Cafe in Bournemouth aims to improve lives by promoting kindness through animal welfare, ethical eating, volunteering and community projects. Pause is a peaceful retreat where people can connect and make friends (human and animal), know that they are doing good, and be served excellent quality, healthy, kind food and drink.
Volunteers will provide and maintain a high standard of service and quality for all of our visitors in a calm and welcoming environment, by helping with food and drink service and preparation and customer service. All members of the team are expected to follow our mission of kindness to all humans and animals.
We are looking for volunteers to help in the cafe during our opening hours, specifically on Thursdays between 12 and 4pm ongoing and Fridays between 12 and 4pm during January, after which we will find a new weekly shift for you.
Please note training shifts will take place on weekends.
Cafe Volunteer responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
- Serving customers
- Food and drink preparation
- Washing up
- Wrapping cutlery
- Cleaning
This is a great opportunity for anybody who wants to gain experience and improve their skills while spending time with some lovely people in a peaceful environment.
