Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and versatile All-Round Handyperson to support the upkeep, presentation, and smooth running of our sites across London and the surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have experience in general maintenance, cleaning, and basic landscaping, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong commitment to maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out general maintenance and repair tasks across various sites, including minor repairs, basic carpentry, painting, and resolving day-to-day issues.
  • Perform routine and deep cleaning duties to maintain safe, clean, and presentable environments.
  • Support landscaping and grounds maintenance work such as mowing, trimming, planting, weeding, and general garden upkeep.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and report maintenance needs promptly.
  • Manage waste disposal and recycling processes in accordance with site guidelines.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment, furniture, and materials as required.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with health and safety procedures.
  • Liaise with office staff and relevant departments to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies to ensure they remain in good working order.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in maintenance, cleaning, landscaping, or a similar hands-on role.
  • Strong practical skills with the ability to carry out minor repairs.
  • Good understanding of cleaning practices and equipment.
  • Knowledge of basic gardening and grounds maintenance techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Good communication skills and a professional approach.
  • Physically capable of undertaking manual tasks.

Additional Requirements

  • Full clean UK driving licence.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.
  • Strong route planning and map-reading skills.
  • Confidence using paints, PPE, solvents, ladders, and gardening equipment.
  • Good understanding of safety practices, manual handling, and tool inspections.
  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends when required.
