Chef Responsibilities:
As a Chef at The Steamhouse you will play a crucial role in our culinary team. Responsibilities include:
- Daily Operations: Oversee the daily operations to ensure smooth, efficient service in collaboration with the General Manager.
- Team Collaboration: Foster a positive and communicative environment between kitchen staff and front-of-house teams.
- Cooking Standards: Maintain high standards for food preparation and presentation, ensuring every dish meets our quality expectations.
- Hygiene and Cleanliness: Uphold kitchen cleanliness and adhere to food hygiene standards.
- Stock Management: Monitor and manage inventory to ensure freshness and minimise waste.
- Compliance: Implement and communicate menu changes, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Regularly check and maintain kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance.
(Please note: This role requires flexibility over 7 days, including weekends)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
