Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and production, with a keen understanding of food safety and hospitality standards. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring that our restaurant maintains the highest quality of food and service.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation.
  • Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure high standards of culinary excellence.
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene practices.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
  • Ensure the kitchen is clean, organised, and well-maintained at all times.
  • Assist in the preparation of meals during peak service times.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or similar hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food production.
  • Excellent culinary skills with a passion for creating high-quality dishes.
  • Ability to manage a team effectively, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
  • Good communication skills to liaise effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house staff.
  • A relevant culinary qualification is preferred but not essential if experience is substantial.

Pay: £32,000.00-£35,500.00 per year
