Oakfield Estate Agents we recruiting for a LETTINGS MARKETING CONSULTANT to join our branch in Uckfield.

Established in 1996 Oakfield is a leading independent agent in East Sussex with branches in Hastings, Bexhill, Eastbourne, Lewes, Heathfield and Uckfield as well as a Head Office in St Leonards. Oakfield offer Sales, Lettings and Block Management services to our Clients and pride ourselves on having an excellent team to support our Clients.

We are seeking a highly organised, outgoing and confident individual who wants to join a growing and modern Estate Agency business. The candidate will have a desire to offer outstanding customer service to our Clients and always be willing to go above and beyond to ensure the Clients experience with Oakfield is a positive one.

To be successful in the Lettings Industry you need to be able to juggle many tasks at once, the ability to prioritise and manage your time efficiently is essential. You will be frequently in and out of the office attending appointments so you need to be able effectively plan your day to ensure you maximise on the time you have in the day.

The day to day key aspects of the role are:

• Actively seeking new property instructions
• Ensuring Landlords have regular feedback and contact
• Negotiating offers and following them through to completion following our structured lettings progression process
• Registering and qualifying potential Tenants
• Carrying out viewings
• Monitoring listings coming to the market to ensure you have a full knowledge of the market
• Dealing with the property management associated tasks relating to the portfolio

During the working day you'll spend a great deal of your time liaising with Clients both in person and on the phone so excellent communication skills both verbally and written are essential.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a Lettings related role previously ideally at a similar level undertaking valuations. ARLA Propertymark qualification is also desired but not essential. Being able to work independently to manage your work load as well as part of a team is essential.

The successful candidate must hold a valid driving license and have access to their own vehicle for business use, fuel expenses will be reimbursed.

Salary & working hours - The role is a full time role Monday – Saturday 8:30am to 5:30pm with a day off in the week but these hours must be considered flexible as often additional hours are needed to fully fulfil the role. The salary we're offering is £25,000 - £40,000 per annum based on experience.
