Marketing Assistant

We're looking for a dynamic and creative Marketing Assistant to join our team based in either Battle or Tunbridge Wells. . If you're a graduate with 1-2 years of marketing experience, we'd love to hear from you This fast-paced role involves planning, organising, and executing marketing campaigns and events to enhance brand visibility and drive business growth.

Salary and Package

· Based in either our Battle office (68 High Street, Battle, TN33 0AG) or Tunbridge Wells office (1 London Road, Tunbridge Wells, TN1 1DH).

· Permanent position.

· Full-time, Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm OR part-time c. 25 hours.

· 20 days holiday (increasing up to 25 days) plus bank holidays.

· £24,000 - £28,000 depending on experience and qualifications and pro-rated for

part-time hours.

· Life Insurance.

· Training is available to assist in developing your skills and advancing in your role as a marketing professional.

Qualifications & Skills

Essential

· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience) or CIM qualification.

· Experience in fast-paced environments, managing multiple projects and deadlines.

· A creative mindset with a passion for marketing, design, and content creation.

· Ability to multitask, work under pressure with tight deadlines, and use initiative.

· Ability to organise and prioritise your own workload.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Digitally confident.

· Eager to learn and adapt.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

· Highly organised with strong attention to detail.

· Self-motivated team player.

Desirable

· Ability to confidently use design packages, preferably Adobe InDesign, and potentially Photoshop and Illustrator. Training is available.

· Experience using Canva.

· Experience using WordPress or managing a website and SEO.

· Knowledge of Reapit.

· Experience using GA4 Analytics.

· Experience building and executing email marketing campaigns.

· Meta/Facebook Ads.

Responsibilities & Duties

· Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies across digital and traditional channels to promote events, products, and services.

· Manage social media accounts by producing engaging content, coordinating and creating daily posts, monitoring engagement, and reporting insights.

· Assist in creating and sending email newsletters and campaigns to engage audiences and increase brand awareness.

· Help produce promotional materials, including posters, adverts and videos using InDesign and Canva.

· Support website updates, including adding new pages, updating imagery, writing blogs, and optimizing content for SEO.

· Ensure all marketing materials adhere to the company's brand guidelines and messaging. Contribute creative ideas to enhance marketing initiatives.

· Track the performance of marketing campaigns and events, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

· Support the marketing team with event promotion, set-up, and on-the-day support as required.

Other requirements

· Must have the permanent right to work in the U.K.

· Full driving licence.

· Use of a car.
