Market Assistant – TANA Mediterranean

TANA Mediterranean is a growing food business offering premium Mediterranean olives, fresh hummus, deli goods, and mix nuts treats. We're looking for a friendly, reliable Market Assistant to join our team at farmers' markets and food events around Southeast England.

What You'll Do:

Pick up stock, tables, gazebo, and sampling tools from our kitchen in Southborough,Kent.

Transport and set up the stall at local markets around Southeast England (your own vehicle required)

Offer tastings, talk to customers, and handle sales

Process payments using our card reader

Pack down and return everything after the market

Who We're Looking For:

Full UK driving licence and a vehicle suitable for carrying stock and equipment

Friendly, proactive, and confident engaging with customers

Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently

Physically able to lift boxes and stall equipment

Interest in local food, health, or sustainability is a plus

What We Offer:

Pay per market day (£120–£150 depending on experience), with optional sales commission

Flexible weekend (and occasional weekday) shifts

Opportunity to grow into a more entrepreneurial role or long-term partnership

Supportive, friendly team environment

Locations: Various farmers' markets and food events within 15–30 miles of our Kitchen
