This Position reports to:

Division President

Join our international automation business as Regional Sales Director for Europe (non DACH), where you will lead a large, multicultural sales organization and drive the region's growth strategy. In this high-impact leadership role, you will shape go-to-market approaches, strengthen customer relationships at the highest levels, and ensure strong commercial performance across multiple countries. Main Responsibilities:

  • Accelerate Regional Growth: Deliver outstanding results and achieve top-line targets across the region.
  • Localize Global Strategies: Adapt global initiatives to local market needs, expand go-to-market channels, and strengthen Value Provider networks.
  • Ensure Operational Excellence: Oversee strategic plans, budgets, compliance, and margin contribution for all countries in the region.
  • Champion Quality & Compliance: Drive adherence to corporate policies, integrity, safety, and continuous quality improvement.
  • Strengthen Customer Relationships: Build and maintain C-level engagement, gather feedback, and enhance customer satisfaction and partnerships.
  • Develop Talent & Leadership: Lead succession planning together with HR, talent reviews, and capability development across the organization.
  • Accelerate Technology & Tools Adoption: Promote new technologies, expand service offerings, and ensure effective use of tools like SFDC for pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Collaborate Globally: Support global sales initiatives, coordinate with HQ and other functions, and ensure implementation of corporate directives

Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business (preferred) with 15+ years of progressive experience in product management and sales leadership roles.
  • Industry Expertise: Broad experience in selling and supporting industrial customers, with proven success in developing new markets and leveraging alternative channels in industrial automation.
  • Leadership & International Exposure: Demonstrated success in senior leadership positions; international experience is essential.
  • Strategic & Commercial Acumen: Strong generalist with deep understanding of Industrial Automation and related financial disciplines; proven ability to develop strategies and business plans.
  • Organizational & Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to prioritize, work under pressure, and deliver results; outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • People Leadership: First-class interpersonal skills with a track record of building and motivating high-performance teams; strong ambassador for organizational culture and values.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Highly intuitive, responsive, and committed to customer satisfaction.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel up to 50%.
