Role Overview
Sompo International is enhancing its Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) capabilities through the implementation of a new Global Target Operating Model (TOM). At the heart of this transformation is the TPRM Change Manager, a critical role focused on driving the successful delivery and adoption of a new global TPRM framework and platform (Certa) across the organization.

As the Change Manager, you will support the implementation of innovative policies, frameworks, and systems, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and best practices. This role demands a strong combination of project management expertise and change management capabilities to embed sustainable processes, tools, and behaviors within the organization.

Working closely with the Global Head of Third-Party Risk Management and engaging stakeholders across Sompo's dynamic international operations, you will play a key role in establishing new capabilities and delivering a best-in-class TPRM function.

What You'll Be Doing
Project Management

  • Collaborate with the Head of TPRM to drive the end-to-end delivery of the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) programme, including strategic planning, milestone tracking, progress reporting, and governance activities.
  • Monitor project timelines, critical paths, and key deliverables, for different phases of the rollouts, and global adoption milestones.
  • Lead the planning, preparation, and execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for phase 2 of the TPRM framework in collaboration with business users and Certa.
  • Identify risks and escalate issues to relevant stakeholders when necessary to ensure project success.

Change Management

  • Refine and implement a comprehensive change-management strategy and roadmap to ensure smooth adoption of the TPRM framework and tools.
  • Foster engagement with stakeholders across all levels of the organization, from C-suite executives to operational teams, ensuring clarity on objectives, benefits, and progress updates.
  • Develop and maintain user guides, training materials, and deliver workshops, training sessions, and awareness campaigns to embed new processes and roles effectively.
  • Create, evolve and execute a stakeholder engagement plan aimed at driving cultural change, promoting collaboration, and ensuring accountability across the organization.
  • Provide senior leadership with expert advice on change readiness, potential risks, and effective mitigation strategies.

Governance & Reporting

  • Prepare updates for steering committees, governance, executive dashboards, and reporting packs to ensure transparency and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Align programme activities and deliverables with Sompo's values and operating model.
  • Support the implementation of a Target Operating Model (TOM) for the TPRM and RACI framework ensuring its global applicability.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven Success in Change Management: Extensive experience in leading complex, cross-functional change programmes, particularly within the Financial Services and Insurance sectors.
  • Project Management Expertise: Advanced skills in project management, supported by relevant certifications such as Prince2 or PMP, with a strong track record of hands-on delivery.
  • Organizational Change and Stakeholder Engagement: Demonstrated ability to manage organizational change and effectively engage stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
  • Specialized Knowledge in Risk Frameworks: Comprehensive understanding of Third-Party Risk Management, Outsourcing, and Supplier Risk frameworks.
  • Relevant experience in supply chain management, global procurement functions, vendor management, and overall supply chain operations.
  • Regulatory Expertise: Familiar with key regulatory frameworks impacting third-party oversight, including DORA, PRA SS2/21, EBA, and Solvency II.
  • Strong Communication and Leadership Skills: Exceptional communication abilities, with a proven capacity to influence and collaborate with senior leaders and diverse stakeholders.
  • Vendor and Resource Management: Skilled in managing relationships with vendors, consultants, and offshore teams, ensuring optimal resource allocation and performance.
  • Procurement and Risk Tooling: Proficient in procurement transformation and experienced with vendor risk management tools such as Certa, Aravo, Archer, and Coupa.
  • Industry Experience: Robust professional background in Risk, Compliance, or Procurement functions within global financial institutions.
  • Agile Delivery Expertise: Solid experience in Agile project delivery methodologies, ensuring adaptability and efficiency in fast-paced environments.
