This role is designed to enhance our Faculty Research & Knowledge Exchange Services Team in supporting the implementation and delivery of our Research Centre activities within the Institute of Inclusive Communities and Environments. The team provides a high standard of administrative and event support to the Institute and Research Centres ensuring an efficient and effective service for research staff and doctoral students.
The team has a hybrid approach to working which will include remote delivery of virtual services/events, as well as in-person delivery on campuses.
The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills. You should be able to quickly build strong and positive working relationships with administrative and academic colleagues of all levels. You should have excellent organisational skills and can plan and prioritise a busy schedule of work in order to achieve objectives. You will have strong IT skills and enjoy multi-tasking and you should be happy to be part of a close-knit team with shared objectives. Your experience should include co-ordinating meetings; supporting purchasing; supporting the development of research dissemination activities and delivering them to a high standard; editing web pages; and providing guidance on processes to academic colleagues. You should have a commitment to continuous improvement and embracing innovation.
The successful candidate must hold a Degree level education Or considerable proven relevant experience.
