Following several years of robust growth followed by strong staff recruitment, we are pleased to offer an additional post at Lecturer level.

The School of Human Sciences is located in the fantastic and newly refurbished Dreadnought building on the World Heritage site at the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich. Its bespoke new laboratory facilities is part of significant investment in the School and part of a long-term plan to build internationally leading research and teaching in the Faculty. As part of this investment, we are looking to appoint dynamic and engaged colleagues to help grow and develop the School.

You will be joining a School and Faculty that is building a strong interdisciplinary and cross-professional approach to solving the grand challenges facing society. We are looking for colleagues who will have a commitment to maintaining and building the University’s excellence in teaching and learning, and who are doing research that has the potential for significant long-term academic and societal impact.

The School has an active and growing research base. We performed well REF2021 particularly with regard to ‘research environment’. The University is currently rated TEF silver, reflecting our excellent teaching and learning, and we have realistic aspirations to achieve a TEF rating of ‘gold’ in any forthcoming assessment exercise.
