About the role:

We are currently seeking a full-time, Administration Officer to join our team at the Appin Mine, Wollongong.  Reporting to our Administration Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support across a diverse range projects in New South Wales.  Your day-to-day will vary but some of the core functions of this role include:

  • Weekly timesheet processing (including leave administration management)
  • Accommodation bookings
  • Managing compliances
  • Roster management
  • Accounts payable/receivable
  • Invoicing
  • General administration and support to the project management teams

About You:

Our Administration Officer is great with people, systems and spreadsheets  We are also looking for the following:

  • Previous experience in a similar administrative role (highly regarded
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving;;
  • High data entry accuracy and strong attention to detail;
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders (site teams, contractors, head office, clients);
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented;
  • Proven Excel experience at an intermediate level with advanced (highly regarded)
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Pronto or INX (desirable)
