Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be supporting a leading, fast-paced organisation in the FMCG sector to appoint a Payroll Coordinator. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business with a strong presence across the UK and internationally, taking ownership of payroll processes for a large and varied workforce.

Working in partnership with the company's managed service provider (ADP), the Payroll Co-ordinator will take responsibility for the
end-to-end processing of multiple payrolls
covering over 700 employees across the UK and overseas.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Analysing anomalies and errors, resolving queries quickly and effectively.
  • Ensuring pensions, HMRC and third-party payments are processed correctly and on time.
  • Processing starters, leavers, and payroll-related changes.
  • Managing payroll data within the time and attendance system.
  • Producing accurate statutory reporting (FPS, P11D, PAYE/NIC and other deductions).
  • Reconciling payroll transactions with the general ledger.
  • Providing relevant payroll information to internal stakeholders and external bodies.

We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive payroll professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Proven experience in a similar payroll role within a busy environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of payroll systems .
  • Experience managing multiple payrolls.
  • Knowledge of administering time and attendance systems.
  • Strong Excel skills (intermediate level or above).
  • Confidence in report writing and data analysis.
