What to expectThe Portfolio Demand, Resource & Capacity Manager is a member of the Transformation & Portfolio Office Team and will support the successful delivery of the Transformation & Change Portfolio of projects in support of business objectives.
This role sits at the heart of a growing Transformation function, with the opportunity to shape and influence strategic operations across the business. The Portfolio Demand, Resource & Capacity Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the successful delivery of our transformation by ensuring that the portfolio has the right resources, skills, and capacity to deliver its strategic change agenda. This role manages the end-to-end process of capturing, prioritising, and scheduling demand across multiple pillars, programmes and projects, aligning it with available capacity, and proactively identifying risks, constraints, and optimisation opportunities.

What you'll need to succeed- Proven track record in portfolio demand and resource capacity management, ideally gained in a transformation or enterprise PMO environment.
- Experience in running strategic business / portfolio planning cycles within large, complex organisations
- Seasoned People Manager with proven experience collaborating with peers and senior managers, to contribute to the development of, and deliver, a functional strategy to achieve objectives.
- Substantial experience in establishing successful, cross-functional, stakeholder relationships.
- Experience with the implementation and development of reporting and programme frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of programme and project governance frameworks and tools.
- Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile delivery approaches and hybrid programme models.
- Familiarity with change portfolio governance and prioritisation methods.
- Portfolio Management tools: ideally ServiceNow SPM or Planview, PPO, Clarity or similar
