Energia Group recognises the central role that Data and Digitalisation will play in achieving its exciting business strategy and there is sponsorship of the new Data Strategy from the highest levels.

Your role as a Technical Analyst will sit within Energia Groups Technology & Innovation function as it builds material capability and community in the Data domain.

You will directly support our business units as they crave greater data and insight to drive the performance of the Group. You will be responsible for expanding and optimising our data and data pipeline architecture, as well as optimising data flow and collection for cross-functional teams. Youll focus on the practical applications of data collection and analysis, providing the mechanism for collecting and validating the information that our data scientists and data analysts use to answer questions. Working to develop and support Energias Customer Data Platform. The Customer Data Platform is an Azure cloud native technology solution utilising Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse and SQL Managed Instance.

What You'll Need

  • Experience in design, development, and implementation of data models / solutions to meet business needs.
  • High competency and knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases within an IT working environment with minimum 2 years hands on.
  • Proven experience in addressing and solving IT and business issues with third party vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a logical mindset and drive to problem solve.
