Cleaning Operative – Uckfield ( Late Afternoons )

Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour

Location: Lewes

Hours: 3 HR Per Week

Shift Pattern: 3 Hrs Every Saturday Anytime Between 2pm & 7:30pm

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Cleaning Operative to clean at an Office in Uckfield. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff and students.

What You'll Do

  • Perform cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, disinfecting, vacuuming, and mopping.
  • Restock cleaning supplies and toiletries.
  • Wash reusable cleaning materials (cloths, mop heads, dusters).
  • Maintain equipment in good working order and report defects.
  • Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste correctly.
  • Complete daily/weekly site checklists.
  • Respond promptly to any reactive cleaning tasks.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain stock levels and place orders.
  • Carry out scheduled cleaning inspections.
  • Attend regular meetings with the Area Manager.
  • Ensure building security and manage key holding duties.
  • Deliver excellent standards.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years' cleaning experience (supervisory level preferred).
  • Fluent English (spoken and written).
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH.
  • Ability to use mobile devices for timekeeping and email.
  • Must live in the UK and have the Right to Work.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 per week
