Housekeeping Assistant

Mayfield School, a leading Catholic independent boarding and day school for girls aged 11-18, is looking for dedicated and motivated individuals to join our Housekeeping team in the beautiful village of Mayfield, East Sussex.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Cleaning and maintaining various areas across the school, including classrooms, boarding houses, and communal spaces
  • Ensuring floors are spotless, carpets are vacuumed, and furniture is polished
  • Carrying out wet cleaning tasks such as scrubbing showers, toilets, and sinks
  • Managing waste by following proper disposal procedures
  • Ensuring the school remains a clean and tidy place, promoting a healthy, safe learning environment
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations and school policies

Hours & Flexibility

  • 2 x Part-Time roles, Term-Time only
  • Hours 10-15 per week (Saturday/ Sunday + 1 week day)
