St Anne's Old Links Golf Club is regarded as one of the finest Championship links courses in the North West, renowned for its proud history, prestigious events, and vibrant golfing community.

We are now seeking a talented and driven Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and take our food offering to the next level.

The Role

As Head Chef, you will work under the guidance of our Executive Head Chef, Andrew Justice, and be responsible for day-to-day kitchen operations. This is a hands-on role with the chance to shape menus, showcase the best of Lancashire produce, and deliver everything from hearty golfers' breakfasts and lunches to refined seasonal dishes for weddings, private functions, and corporate hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and develop exciting, seasonal menus showcasing local ingredients.
  • Manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistency and excellence.
  • Lead, train, and motivate the kitchen team.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, safety, and compliance.
  • Work within budgets to maximise profitability while minimising waste.
  • Collaborate with management to enhance the overall dining experience.

About You

  • Experienced Head Chef or ambitious Sous Chef ready for the next step.
  • Passion for fresh, local, seasonal food with creativity in menu design.
  • Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
  • Background in high-volume kitchens, banqueting, or golf/hotel dining desirable.
  • Flexible and adaptable with a positive, hands-on approach.
