About DwellyDwelly it's a property tech start up founded in 2023. We are building AI-driven rental management platform with focus on long-term residential rentals in UK. It's end-to-end marketplace platform serving both landlords and tenants. We help to improve the rental processes and making decision faster. We are taking care of contract management, payments, property, tenant and landlord management. By reengineering traditional agency processes, we elevate client experiences and drive efficiency.Position Summary:We are seeking a highly organised and results-orientedHead of Peopleto drive the development of our team, help to foster the culture and make us the best place to work at. We truly believe that to make customers happy we need to make our team happy first.You will work directly with Founders with a primary focus around (1) establishing HR processes: everything from standardisation of Employment Agreements, to transparent processes around vacations, sick leaves, etc (2) developing company's culture by merging two worlds: tech world and property world together so they act as one team, and (3) take an active role in acquired agencies transformation, integration into the Dwelly family, including cultural integration, reskilling and upskilling (if required), etc.You will be able to leverage external specialised support and build an in-house team at some point of time.What is Dwelly:Dwelly — a UK-based, AI-enabled lettings and property management platform, that is growing through a roll-up strategy acquiring estate agencies. The company leverages two arms: i) acquiring existing letting agencies, effectively buying its highly sticky, recurring revenue-type landlords portfolios, and then ii) building a top-notch technology to automate tenant management, payments, and post-rental property maintenance. The company seamlessly integrates AI services to automate all business processes within brick-and-mortar real estate agencies, integrating them into a tech-enabled digital letting platform in two months to radically improve the user experiences and increase efficiency of the business.Key Responsibilities:Establishing HR processes (admin HR)Introduce HR IS (compatible with ATS, with performance management, L&D tool) for basic tracking of key data: employees, start dates, org structure, compensation, and any other necessary personal informationStandard policies and processes: onboarding, offboarding, vacations, sick leavesStandardise practices across all acquired agenciesIn coordination with the Head of Legal: standardise employment agreements and contractors/consultants agreements; check if there are any inconsistencies with existing employeesPerformance Management & Talent DevelopmentAcross both HQ and agency levelsDevelop and run 360 feedback reviews every 6 months. Design it across key 3 streams: performance, skillset sufficiency, values fitCo-develop with Business leaders and harmonise across the group all career trajectories and grades within the functions. Introduce the skillset map per functional skillset per roleStudy and constantly update salary benchmarks for people we have in the team or plan to hireAgencies transformationCommunications and consistency of messages alignmentUpskilling and reskilling process as part of full integrationCultural integration of the staff of acquired agencies into Dwelly. From local culture in the acquired business to single Dwelly mission and visionFostering cultureSolve the most important task: help founders to bring the tech and property world together united around the same goals.Improve company-wide calls to boost engagementDevelop company wide and local events frameworkMake sure everyone in the team is proud to be a Dwell-erFind the right balance between emotions from being part of Dwelly and necessity to build a high-performing team. We are not big fans of family cultures, but at the same time, even high-performing teams should be cool and people should have fun playing together in this professional sport we are in.Qualifications:Experience: 8+ years in HR Generalist/Sr HR BP in total, at least 2 years in Head of People role in a tech company with 250+ employees.Skills: Exceptionally organised and detail-oriented; Exceptional people skills to communicate to different stakeholders and feel everyone in the room; Well-developed eye on A-players.Team management : From being a hands-on Talent person to being able to establish a scalable team and processes to support a growing organisation (potentially an international expansion) across all three main responsibilitiesIn step with recent technology advancements: utilise ChatGPT daily for document analysis, drafting (i.e. claims, etc)Highly commercial acumen: we don't try to build La-la land, we build high performing teams that deliver growth and shareholders value.Preferred Background:Experience in fast growing tech businesses is mustExperience in high-performing teams is also must: Talent vertical in Big3 consulting or IB would be a plusWhat is it like being a Dwell-erFeel free to check out Dwelly Core Principles.
