Arunside Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and friendly person to join our hardworking and dedicated team of professionals.

At Arunside School, we aim for the career of a Teaching Assistant (TA) to be a rewarding and fulfilling one. TA's play an integral role in both the classroom and wider life of the school, from assisting in lesson delivery, to offering individual guidance and support. The successful candidate should ideally:

• be qualified to NVQ Level 3 or working towards in a relevant subject area ie childcare, early years, TA or teaching and learning
• hold a qualification of Grade C or above in Maths and English.
• Be willing to support the immediate/basic needs of children when injured/sick or wet/soiled

This is a permanent position:

8.30 am to 3.15pm one day a week with one 15 minute paid break duty and 30 minutes unpaid lunch break.

8.30am – 3.15pm four days a week with 45 unpaid break/lunch duty. Term time only – 27.75 hours per week pro rota (Grade 3-4)

Midday Meals Supervisor – 2.5 hours per week (Grade 2)
