The Denholm Group is a family-owned business with a proud heritage and diverse operations across Shipping, Logistics, Industrial Services and Seafoods. We are looking for a Marketing Communications Advisor to support our group-level communications and marketing strategy.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside the Group Marketing & Communications Manager to shape the organisation's messaging, strengthen employee engagement and drive forward major brand and communications initiatives during an exciting phase of transformation and growth. With a strong emphasis on values, community impact and sustainability this role is ideal for a confident communicator who wants to lead projects, bring fresh ideas, and make a visible difference.

Responsibilities include:

  • Contribute to a refreshed Group brand and employer brand strategy.
  • Support the re-launch of the organisation's charity and community programme.
  • Work closely with the Group's sustainability leader to communicate Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) priorities across multiple platforms.
  • D
    eliver consistent, engaging internal communications through newsletters, intranet updates, and employee bulletins.
  • Own and produce a flagship internal publication, a longstanding and highly valued company asset, shared with stakeholders, retirees, and employees twice a year.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Communication, Internal Communications, and Marketing.
  • Strong Writing skills, with the ability to develop compelling and clear content.
  • Proven ability to manage projects and align marketing efforts with organisational goals.
  • Familiarity with the industries The Denholm Group operates in is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.

Role is hybrid once probation period has been met.
