Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. The Early Years Educator will play a vital role in guiding children through their early learning experiences, promoting social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning through play.
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and milestones.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns.
  • Manage classroom behaviour in a positive manner, fostering respect and cooperation among children.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high standards of care and education are maintained.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism and enthusiasm in all interactions.
  • Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

  • A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is essential.
  • Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate both children and colleagues.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English.
  • A drive to create innovative learning experiences tailored to individual children's needs.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A commitment to safeguarding children and promoting their welfare at all times.
