We have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to join our team based at our Head Office in Coventry. As a Payroll Administratorwith The ExtraCare Charitable Trust, you will be a key team member by providing effective payroll administration, ensuring legislation is adhered to all times, and to continuously improve the quality of the service provided.
The ideal candidate will have previous (at least 12 months) demonstrable experience within a similar role, be customer focussed, able to work well under pressure and work with credibility & integrity. If this sounds like you, please read on for more details
- Location: Coventry (Head Office, Binley, CV3 2SN)
- Job type: 12 months fixed term contract
- Hours per week: 25 hours
- Salary: £17,342pa (pro-rata, based on £26,010 FTE)
You will:
- Supporting the payroll team in processing all payroll data including starters, leavers, tax details, absence, statutory pay.
- Maintaining accurate employee records within iTrent payroll software.
- Actively pursuing outstanding information to ensure that payroll deadlines are met.
- Provide first-line support and advice to employees, managers and senior leaders on all payroll matters.
Process all amendments to employee pension including opt in's, opt outs, additional voluntary contributions, and the automatic enrolment process for all new employees.
About you:
- Experience of data input and payroll.
- Ability to prioritise high volumes of payroll processing activities, ensuring total accuracy, and working within strict timelines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey information in a professional manner.
- Collaborative work ethic within a team environment.
