About The Role

We are seeking a Database Programmer to join our Database Programming team within the Data Sciences department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience in database programming within a supportive and high-performing environment.

This role would suit someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for data integrity, you will develop your skills to work independently with minimal supervision and play a vital role in supporting clinical studies.

This is a hybrid role based at our Edinburgh site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design simple/standard eCRF database screens and edit checks
  • Perform system administration tasks such as user access setup, data extracts, and archiving
  • Assist with database design and testing for clinical studies
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs and Good Clinical Practice
  • Maintain your training file and contribute to a collaborative, flexible team environment
About You
  • A degree in Life Sciences, IT, or a numerate discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and email
