Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing personalised support to children, ensuring their well-being and development in a safe and nurturing environment. Responsibilities

  • Assist children with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and recreational pursuits.
  • Support children in participating in educational and social activities, fostering independence and confidence.
  • Implement and follow personalised care plans developed in collaboration with families and professionals.
  • Maintain clear communication with colleagues, families, and external agencies to ensure consistent support.
  • Drive children to appointments, activities, or outings as required, ensuring safety at all times.
  • Use IT systems to document progress, update care plans, and record relevant observations accurately.
  • Promote a positive environment that encourages development, inclusion, and emotional well-being.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children or in childcare settings is highly desirable.
  • Valid driving licence with the ability to drive children safely to various locations.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with children, families, and team members.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and the ability to adapt support accordingly.
  • Basic IT skills for record keeping and updating care documentation.
