About the role

In Wembley, the Dimensions team are supporting two individuals with severe learning disabilities and autism in a supported living bungalow in a very quiet residential area in the centre of Wembley City close to Wembley Arena/ the Wembley National Stadium. This home benefits from a big rear garden, large front yard for parking for our Support workers but it is also walking distance from the Wembley park Station where you can access the Metropolitan and Jubilee Line.

This is a 24/7 two person service which is expected to grow in the future. We would be looking for Support staff who can assist male and females between the ages of 50-65 with personal care, manual handling, meal preparation and activities including household duties. We have a lively atmosphere with fun and games. You will be given ongoing support and leadership from the management team including mental health.

All Support Workers would be required to complete service specific skill training such as epilepsy awareness, positive behaviour and support, SCIP and diabetes and Dysphagia awareness.

Shift patterns will vary weekly and work around the people we support including 7am -3pm/2pm - 10pm/sleep-ins and alternate weekends (to be discussed at interview).
