Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to support the daily financial and administrative operations of our organisation. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of basic accounting principles and excellent organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities:Accounts Duties:

  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Process invoices, receipts, in a timely manner
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and statements
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers
  • Support end-of-month and year-end closing processes
  • Liaise with suppliers and customers regarding account queries
  • Input data into accounting software

Administrative Duties:

  • Provide general administrative support to the office team
  • Order and manage office supplies and equipment
  • Answer incoming calls and emails, and handle general inquiries
  • Assist with HR admin tasks such as onboarding documentation
  • Support internal departments with ad hoc tasks and projects

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in an administrative or accounts role
  • Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience using accounting software
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £28,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
