Accounts Administrator

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to support the daily financial and administrative operations of our organisation. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of basic accounting principles and excellent organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities:Accounts Duties:
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Process invoices, receipts, in a timely manner
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and statements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers
- Support end-of-month and year-end closing processes
- Liaise with suppliers and customers regarding account queries
- Input data into accounting software
Administrative Duties:
- Provide general administrative support to the office team
- Order and manage office supplies and equipment
- Answer incoming calls and emails, and handle general inquiries
- Assist with HR admin tasks such as onboarding documentation
- Support internal departments with ad hoc tasks and projects
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in an administrative or accounts role
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience using accounting software
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £28,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
