Office Administrator/Secretary

About the Role:
We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Office Administrator / Secretary to join our growing team. You'll play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the business by managing administrative tasks across multiple store locations and assisting the Director directly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct phone calls, handle queries, and provide excellent customer support.
- Manage schedules, maintain diaries, and arrange appointments.
- Organize and maintain digital and paper-based files.
- Support other departments by organizing tasks, paperwork, and communications.
- Liaise with internal staff across departments regarding invoices and other administrative needs.
- Oversee administration for four stores, including ordering supplies, scheduling maintenance, and managing equipment.
- Order and monitor inventory of supplies for all store locations.
- Arrange maintenance for stores, company vehicles, and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized office environment.
- Photocopy, print, and distribute documents as required.
- Assist the Director with day-to-day administrative tasks.
- Manage company emails, timesheets, incoming post, and phone calls.
- Handle office supply orders and payments, insurance renewals, and vehicle maintenance schedules.
- Communicate with service providers (e.g., BT) as required.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in an administrative, office assistant, or secretary role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and telephone manner.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer use.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritise effectively.
Working days/Hours Mon-Fri 9-5
Pay £12.50hr
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
