If so then we are looking for carers with a full driving licence to join our growing team to deliver care across Plymouth and surrounding areas.

This role is to support people within their own homes, delivering and supporting a variety of care needs on an individual basis.

If you are new to the sector and are looking to have a career as a carer and have a full driving licence, then we can support you to take those steps and give you a rewarding career.

Duties

  • Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive environment
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems and ensure documentation is up-to-date
  • Assist with medication administration following prescribed guidelines
  • Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as required
  • Drive to client homes, ensuring timely arrival and departure
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Uphold health and safety standards in all aspects of work

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence and ability to drive between client residences
  • Previous experience working in a care environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
  • Good command of English, both spoken and written, for effective communication
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members
  • Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others' wellbeing
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team within a fast-paced environment
