Your role:

As a Play and Parks Technical Officer, you will process and analyse inspection data for all play areas and park assets within the Streetscene service.

You will produce weekly work schedules relating to inspection and repairs and ensure that the necessary resources are made available when required.

You will process and update data within all asset management systems and to produce relevant information to support operational delivery and carry out surveys and inspections of Parks and Streetscene's assets where required.

About you:

  • A full driving licence.
  • Experience in play area management
  • A playground safety qualification.
  • An ability to work on your own initiative whilst working to deadlines
  • Good communication skills both with colleagues and members of the public
  • Ability to carry out play equipment inspection including mechanical moving parts.
  • Knowledge and understanding of ROSPA and other relevant legislation.
