HR and Compliance Lead

Watford

Up to £50,000 pa 

Here at Every Step Recruitment, Office Support, we're seeking a dynamic and experienced HR and Compliance Lead to join our Client's growing team. This is a pivotal standalone role that blends people leadership with legal and compliance oversight, supporting the business as it scales.

You'll be responsible for building and managing core HR functions, driving cultural initiatives, and ensuring legal and regulatory compliance across the organisation. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll help shape the foundations of a high-performing, values-driven company.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: 
  • HR operations and employee lifecycle management
  • Culture, engagement, and team development
  • Legal documentation and contract workflows
  • Compliance frameworks and regulatory standards
Skills and attributes required: 
  • Proven HR experience, ideally in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law and compliance
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with strategic thinking
