Overview
Our client is seeking a Performance Analyst to join their Performance and Insight Team. This role supports organisational performance understanding, crime prevention strategies, and evidence-based decision-making. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality data analysis, develop insight products, and contribute directly to strategic and tactical policing priorities. Flexible working is available within core operating hours.
There is one vacancy focused specifically on crime prevention data and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Provide performance analysis and insight to support organisational decision-making and crime prevention.
- Attend strategic and tactical meetings to present data, findings, and recommendations.
- Develop evidence-based insights to support resource alignment and performance improvement.
- Support the implementation and expansion of Power BI across the organisation.
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and self-service reporting tools for business areas.
- Stay informed about local and national changes to policing, including crime recording and process updates.
- Manage analytical tasks in line with organisational expectations and confidentiality standards.
- Contribute to ongoing development of performance frameworks, methodologies, and analytical tools.

- Relevant analytical experience within a data, insight, or performance environment.
- Ability to work with complex datasets and communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of data analysis, performance frameworks, and evidence-based approaches.
- Experience with Power BI (development and product building) or willingness to develop skills.
- Ability to stay updated on policy changes and apply them to policing data.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder-engagement skills.
- Eligibility to meet vetting requirements, including residency in the UK for the past 5 years.
