Job Overview

We are seeking a professional and welcoming Hotel Receptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, responsible for delivering exceptional guest services and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a vibrant hospitality environment, providing outstanding customer care and support to our guests.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
  • Manage reservations efficiently using the hotel management system
  • Respond promptly to guest enquiries via phone, email, or in person, maintaining excellent phone etiquette
  • Provide information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience
  • Handle guest requests and complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are prepared to high standards
  • Maintain accurate records of guest information and billing details
  • Ensure the reception area is tidy, organised, and welcoming at all times

Experience

  • Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
  • Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly desirable to assist a diverse range of guests
  • Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional guest services with a friendly and professional demeanour
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and reservation systems is advantageous but not mandatory
