Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain & Warehouse Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and optimising our supply chain processes, ensuring efficient logistics and inventory management. This position requires a strong understanding of supply chain systems, including SAP and Oracle EBS, to facilitate seamless operations and enhance productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock availability while minimising excess.
  • Manage warehouse locations, unloading and loading goods
  • Utilise SAP and Oracle EBS systems for tracking shipments, managing orders, and reporting on supply chain performance.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve any supply chain issues promptly.
  • Analyse supply chain data to identify trends, forecast demand, and implement improvements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to enhance collaboration across the supply chain.
  • Prepare reports on supply chain metrics to support decision-making processes.

Qualifications

  • Hard-working, detail-oriented
  • Proven experience in supply chain management or inventory management or warehousing is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SAP and Oracle EBS systems is highly advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling collaboration across teams.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is desirable but not mandatory.
