Job DescriptionTemporary Administration Assistant – Christmas Seasonal Role
Location: Williamson's MyFlorist
Contract: Temporary (Mid-December to Late December)
Hours: Flexible, including some weekends during peak season
About Us
Williamson's MyFlorist is a trusted local florist known for beautiful arrangements, warm customer service, and attention to detail. Christmas is our busiest time of year, and we're looking for an organised and enthusiastic person to join our team to help us deliver festive cheer.
Role Overview
Starting mid-December, the Temporary Administration Assistant will support our team with essential administrative tasks, including preparing personalised cards and coordinating deliveries during the Christmas rush.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and prepare personalised message cards for customer orders
- Assist with organising and scheduling Christmas deliveries
- Communicate with florists, drivers, and customers to ensure accurate information
- Maintain order records and update internal systems
- Answer phone and email enquiries professionally
- Provide general admin support during peak trading
- Complete all tasks with care, accuracy, and festive spirit
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Strong written communication skills
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly and professional manner
- Basic computer skills
Desirable:
- Previous admin, retail, or customer service experience
- Interest in floristry
