Reflections Training has over 40 years of experience in Hairdressing & Barbering Apprenticeships. We offer work-based learning in Bristol, Birmingham and Taunton where Apprentices are based in-salon, earning money whilst attending regular training at the Academies.

Ofsted rated as "GOOD" , our Learners are frequent Finalists in Industry Awards such as Wella Trend Vision and Xposure.

The ideal candidate will need to have and demonstrate the following qualities:

  • A passion for Hairdressing and enjoy delivering training to young people in developing their individual needs and skills
  • Approachable professional team player with excellent communication skills
  • Creativity and confident to deliver Hairdressing skills to groups of learners and one to one
  • D32/33 –A1 CAVA (preferred, not essential or significant/sufficient experience in Hairdressing)
  • Ability to prioritise, good organisational skills and able to adhere to deadlines and targets.
  • Flexible approach and able to inspire and motivate your learning.
  • Ability to demonstrate high quality training with up to date standards to an advanced level
  • Excellent communication skills with a high level of personal presentation/team player/friendly and professional
  • A driving licence is essential with access to your own vehicle

About the role:

You will have full competency and a passion to support learners with the delivery and assessing of Apprenticeships in Hairdressing Level 2 and Hairdressing Level 3.

The successful candidate will be working with learners and employers in raising the standards, quality of training and maintaining outstanding provision offered

You will work with young people in developing the personal skills and supporting them to develop with their chosen career

You will support the delivery of underpinning of knowledge through training sessions workshops and contribute towards the delivery of new standards

You will prepare all workshops and sessions offering inspiring engaging and interactive delivery in promoting the industry skills required and future job roles.

You will monitor learner progress and performance in meeting their individual needs, aspirations and set targets

You will schedule timely visits and carry out assessments/training within the workplace and monitor their individual plan against their personal progression
