Otter Homecare is a home care company based in Trowbridge, providing bespoke care services to people living throughout Wiltshire and Somerset. We offer industry leading pay starting at £14.00ph, weekdays during probation and starting at £15.00ph, weekdays post probation.

Please note all Care Assistants must have authorisation to work in the UK, currently be living in the country, locally to Trowbridge.

Our Care Assistants benefit from:

  • £14ph, standard weekday rate (during probation)
  • £15ph, standard weekday rate (post probation)

Requirements of our Care Assistants:

  • Full, UK driving licence with access to your own reliable vehicle
  • Working availability from 8am – 3pm OR 4pm – 9pm, including alternate weekends
  • Authorisation to work in the UK and currently living in the country, local to this role.
  • Unfortunately, we're unable to provide any form of spοnsοrship for this role.

As a Care Professional you will typically provide care and support to our clients with the following duties:

  • Light housekeeping.
  • Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing and grooming.
  • Helping with the preparation of nutritious meals.
  • Help administer and schedule prescribed medications.
  • Run errands where required, such as grocery shopping and prescription collection.
  • Support with safe movements and support with any prescribed exercises.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction.
  • Accompany clients to appointments, social events or other outings.
  • Observe and report any changes in the client's condition.
