What You'll Be Doing
As a Weekend Morning Care Assistant (7am–2pm), you'll support older adults in their own homes across Trowbridge, helping them start their weekends with comfort and care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting clients with their morning routines — washing, dressing, and getting ready for the day
- Preparing breakfast or lunch and ensuring meals are enjoyed
- Providing medication support and wellbeing checks
- Offering companionship and friendly conversation to brighten someone's morning
- Assisting with light household tasks as needed
Every client is different. Some may need a helping hand with daily routines, while others simply appreciate a caring presence and a chat over a cup of tea.
What You'll Need
- A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Availability to work weekend mornings, 7am–2pm (every weekend or alternate weekends)
- A kind, reliable nature and good spoken English
- No previous care experience required — full training will be provided
