**About the role**:
Staverton House is a luxury care home specialising in dementia care in Staverton, Wiltshire. Our dedicated team delivers a high standard of care to those with dementia, making sure residents maintain their independence and are part of a positive environment.

**Care Assistants **are a valuable part of our team, by combining great staff with the support of strong leadership to deliver genuine and seamless care for all its residents.

As a **Care Assistant,** you will be part of our hardworking team helping residents live their lives to the fullest of their abilities by delivering the highest standard of care.

When you join us as a **Care Assistant** you are making a difference by helping residents to feel at home and maintain their independence.

**We recruit based on values - you do not need to have experience, as we will provide all the training you require**

**Responsibilities include**:

- To provide physical assistance to residents with their daily living activities, including washing, bathing, toileting, dressing, feeding and all other tasks needed to meet their care plan.
- Promoting our resident’s choice, dignity, and independence at all times
- To always be mindful of what a resident is trying to achieve and be supportive towards reaching this goal whenever possible.
- To document your work and observations as per the Homes recording systems at all times.
- To respect the dignity, wishes and choices of residents at all times.
- To maintain a professional attitude and approach to all residents, staff and visitors of the Home at all times.
- To conduct yourself in a professional manner whenever representing the Home, including any time you are in uniform.
