We're seeking an SEO Strategist ready to advance their career as a Technical SEO Project Manager to support our growing team. Success in this role relies on account management, organization, analytical thinking, and a strong SEO foundation. Technical skills will be developed on the job.

Note: We've advertised the job for SEO Strategist (for algorithmic purposes), but the role is a unique one and is defined as 'Technical Project Manager'.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experienced SEO Strategist or Executive comfortable working with clients, agencies, and internal teams to implement organic search strategies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyse SEO performance, identify issues, recommend fixes, and experiment with solutions.
• Use data from various sources to evaluate initiatives and provide actionable improvements in e-commerce SEO and conversion rate optimization.
• Conduct detailed technical audits to assess website health and pinpoint performance barriers.
• Create and maintain regular reports, extracting key insights for future SEO strategies.
• Manage SEO projects, including site architecture, keyword research, content creation, and link-building.
• Coach creative teams on optimizing content, landing pages, and blogs with proper meta and schema markup.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement SEO recommendations effectively.
• Develop local SEO strategies, manage business profiles, and create hyperlocal content plans.
• Perform competitive and keyword research to inform strategy and identify new opportunities.
• Stay updated on search engine algorithm changes and integrated marketing trends.

Qualifications / Experience:

• 2+ years in search engine optimisation.
• Genuine care for clients and their campaigns.
• Self-starter with initiative to develop skills.
• Understanding of SEO fundamentals (e.g., page markup, URL structures, site crawl performance).
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify opportunities.
• Experience with SEO tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMRush, etc.).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to take ownership, implement ideas quickly, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Who You'll Be Working With

Megantic is a growing agency with over a decade of experience in eCommerce and SEO, recognized as a 'Best SEO Agency' for several years. Founded in Australia, we have offices in the UK, Canada, and Macedonia. We're expanding our UK client base and need a confident Technical Project Manager to join our Manchester team, working alongside our Technical Accounts Director, Senior Project Manager, and Web Producer.

Bonus Available: The Successfull candidate will receive a 6 months completion bonus of 3000GBP.
