The Role

They're seeking a hands-on leader of the organic performance function—someone equally comfortable designing strategy, rolling up their sleeves in the tools, and collaborating closely with clients and internal teams.

You'll drive the evolution of the agency's SEO offering: integrating technical excellence, content and UX strategy, and forward-thinking applications of AI. This is both a leadership and delivery role—ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative culture and wants to shape the next generation of SEO capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and develop the agency's SEO strategy—creating a holistic, future-facing approach spanning technical optimisation, content strategy, UX, and brand visibility.
  • Lead and mentor the SEO team, fostering a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Be hands-on in delivery—from audits and site architecture to keyword strategy, content performance, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Integrate AI-driven tools and workflows to enhance efficiency, analysis, and campaign intelligence.
  • Collaborate with content, digital PR, and data teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
  • Engage directly with clients—building trusted relationships, translating complex SEO strategies into clear value, and ensuring strong performance outcomes.
  • Stay ahead of the curve—continually exploring innovations in search, AI, and user experience to keep the SEO offering market-leading.

You're a blend of strategist, technician, and leader. You enjoy diving into complex SEO ecosystems but are equally capable of stepping back to understand brand and commercial impact. You understand the evolving intersection of SEO, content, UX, and AI—and you're excited to lead in that space.
