The Opportunity

We're looking for a commercially minded Head of SEO to join a digital agency at an exciting stage in its journey. The team has a strong client list and big growth plans, so this is your chance to shape how the agency builds its organic performance offering.

You won't just oversee SEO, you'll own it. From technical strategy and content to digital PR and innovation, you'll set the direction, lead a talented team, and deliver growth for a range of clients. It's perfect for someone who's just as comfortable digging into the data as they are presenting ideas to clients.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading Strategy: Create and deliver strong SEO strategies across technical SEO, content, and digital PR
  • Client Leadership: Be the go-to partner for clients, helping turn their goals into smart organic growth plans
  • Team Building: Lead, mentor, and support a high-performing SEO and digital PR team
  • Performance Delivery: Oversee all SEO work, from audits and optimisation to creative campaigns
  • Innovation & Insight: Keep up with SEO trends, algorithm updates, and new tech to keep strategies fresh
  • Collaboration: Work closely with content, paid media, and creative teams to deliver joined-up campaigns

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in a senior SEO role, ideally in a digital agency
  • Strong skills across technical SEO, content strategy, and digital PR
  • Someone who can think big and get hands-on when needed
  • A good commercial head with a clear understanding of how SEO drives results
  • Confident communicator who's comfortable building relationships and presenting to clients
  • Experience leading and developing teams
  • Proficient in tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and GA4
