We are looking for a Night Duty Officer to join our dedicated team within a residential care setting. This is a rewarding and meaningful role for someone who is motivated, compassionate, and committed to providing high-quality care and support overnight.
What you'll do:
As a key member of our established night team, you will take a lead role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of our residents. Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Promoting value-based care that supports independence and enhances quality of life
- Supervising and supporting night staff to maintain high standards of care
- Monitoring and guiding staff in manual handling and other safe working practices
- Assisting with medication administration and ensuring compliance with care policies
- Leading on care documentation, ensuring records are current and reflect best practice
- Working collaboratively with the manager to develop strong partnerships with families, professionals, and the wider community
- Ensuring Health and Safety standards are met at all times
- Taking responsibility for your own learning, supervision, and development

- Experience working in a care setting – ideally in a supervisory capacity
- Sound understanding of care standards and legislation
- The ability to lead with professionalism, empathy, and confidence
