- Based at London Liverpool Street Station
- You must be able to arrange your own transport for early/late shifts 06:30am-21:00 pm Monday to Saturday.
- Full training provided and uniform provided
- Candidates will be subject to a Right to Work check & DBS check for this position.

We have an excellent opportunity in our Customer Service Team based in London Liverpool Street for a Competency Trainer & Assessor.
To work as part of a dedicated team to deliver customer service excellence at your nominated place of work.
To deliver the business aims of the Company as appropriate to this post.
- To contribute to the running of a safe, punctual and reliable railway.
- To deliver customer service excellence at your nominated place of work.
- To deliver and oversee as a lead assessor the safety critical assessments at Liverpool Street & Stratford in line with the Competency Management System.
- To support, mentor and train new starters in line with company values and safety expectations of the new starters post as required.
- To deliver and oversee as a lead safety critical assessor safety and other business critical briefings at Liverpool Street & Stratford.
- To ensure that you oversee as a lead assessor the safety critical assessor calendar for the locations required for this role. Reporting into the Assistant Area Customer Service Manager plan your shift times around the requirements of the assessments to ensure full business compliance is always maintained.
- To ensure that you oversee as a trainer the support, mentor and where required induction / training of new starters into the safety critical teams at the locations required for this role.
- Act as instructed by local management to deliver the best possible customer experience across your nominated place of work.
- Remain highly visible and provide customers with quality information, appropriate advice and guidance to support a high standard of customer experience.
- Maintain a professional manner and be part of a highly motivated team of who deliver a consistently high standard of Train Environment and Customer Service in line with Greater Anglia vision and values. To provide professional and pro-active service to customers and users of the station and be part of a motivated team of Customer Service Professionals.
- To ensure you carry out punctual and safe dispatch of train services where required and in line with the company's safety rules and local Train Dispatch Method Statements at all times.
- We are looking for a colleague who cares highly about safety and is used to working to high standards with a meticulous attention to detail.
- You should either be currently competent in Train Dispatch or have been in the past.
- Advantageous if you are qualified or working towards becoming qualified as an A1 Assessor, but not essential.
