Scope 

The L&D Trainer will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating learning programs that support capability building across functions. This role includes creating engaging training content, facilitating classroom and virtual sessions, supporting leadership development, and driving learning effectiveness. The trainer will also partner with stakeholders and HR to align training initiatives with business priorities.

Key Responsibilities 
  • Conduct training needs analysis (TNA) to identify learning gaps across teams and functions.

  • Design, develop, and deliver blended learning solutions (classroom, virtual, e-learning, microlearning).

  • Facilitate onboarding programs, technical training, behavioral skills, and leadership workshops.

  • Partner with business leaders and HRBPs to align learning initiatives with organizational goals.

  • Create and maintain learning content, manuals, job aids, and toolkits to support continuous learning.

  • Drive Train-the-Trainer (TTT) programs to build internal facilitation capability.

  • Monitor, track, and evaluate training effectiveness using surveys, feedback, assessments, and ROI analysis.

  • Leverage LMS (Learning Management System) and reporting dashboards to track participation and progress.

  • Support organization-wide initiatives such as employee engagement, talent reviews, and career development.

  • Stay updated with the latest learning technologies, methodologies, and industry trends to innovate training approaches.

Required Skills and Experience 
  • Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field. L&D certifications (like CPLP, ISTD, or equivalent) preferred.

  • Experience: 4–10 years of experience in Learning & Development, Training Delivery, or Talent Development (preferably in IT, Retail, or Shared Services environments).

  • Proven ability to facilitate both technical and behavioral training (classroom & virtual).

  • Strong skills in instructional design, content creation, and digital learning tools.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Hands-on experience with MS Office, Google Suite, and LMS platforms.

  • Knowledge of modern training practices such as gamification, storytelling, coaching, and experiential learning.

  • Ability to travel across locations (PAN India) as required for training delivery.
