Costings Finance Manager
to join their Nottingham-based finance team on a
12-month fixed-term contract

In this key role, you'll oversee the costings function, ensuring accurate, timely NPD costings that underpin commercial decisions across the business. You'll guide a team of finance analysts, drive improvement initiatives, and play a pivotal role in shaping how financial insight supports growth and innovation.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and prioritise daily costing requests across multiple manufacturing sites
  • Review and approve costings in collaboration with commercial and operational teams
  • Lead and develop a team of three talented finance analysts
  • Champion continuous improvement, driving efficiency and process excellence
  • Provide financial challenge and insight across commercial, NPD, procurement, and operations
  • Support customer initiatives and turn complex financial data into actionable insight
  • Lead project meetings and contribute to the rollout of a new recipe management system
  • Keep abreast of category trends, market dynamics, and business performance drivers

What You'll Bring

  • Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with strong costings or manufacturing finance experience
  • Skilled in managing multiple priorities and leading a small team
  • Confident communicator who can build strong relationships across functions
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving, commercially driven environment
