Corner Oaks is a 6 bedded high dependency care home for people with Learning Difficulties in Scratby. It is a very exciting time to be part of this project as we launched this care home in October 2022, we have a fantastic reputation and are looking for dedicated individuals to be a part of our highly experienced care teams. We already have a high functioning care home in Mulbarton and we wish to expand with the same high standards at Corner Oaks.
We are a friendly and close knit team who promote a happy, friendly and family atmosphere. Our residents mostly require 1:1 supervision throughout the day and night, but most of all require someone with good values and a happy disposition to provide company and a listening ear. We promote an active lifestyle and therefore will require our staff to take patients out for activities, walks and at times attend events with residents. As such a full driving license is preferred.
We are offering competitive rates of pay, pay progression, career development opportunities, a company pension and full training and support will be provided. We are looking for staff to work a flexible rota which may include some night shifts. Previous experience in the care industry is not essential as full mandatory training is provided, however it is desirable. Monthly supervision and support will be provided. Medical Insurance is provided once you have competed your probation and this pays a contribution to any medical or dental procedures you mat require.
The clinical staff will all work a pattern of 4 days on and 4 days off meaning your working days will only be half of the year Promoting a healthy work/life balance. Included in the package is 20 days Annual Leave and a competitive company pension. Shifts will be 12 hours with a 1 hour unpaid break, staff will be expected to arrive 15 minutes early for handover, you will be paid for this time. Day shifts are 07:45 until 20:00 and night shifts are 19:45 until 08:00. We will have a fully qualified chef on site and will be promoting staff to eat with patients to promote a family environment. Please note, we currently have day shift patterns available, However, there may be overtime opportunities for night shifts.
