We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to focus on SEND / SEMH to join our team At Rossett School, our ethos is rooted in inclusion and opportunity for all. Our growing number of students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) are fully supported to succeed, within the mainstream setting with adaptations. To be a good fit for this role, you will be:

  • Adaptable and flexible and ready to support different classes, subjects, and respond to changing need
  • Confident in curriculum knowledge, understanding learning goals and how to support them effectively
  • Able to use your initiative and work independently, leading groups, and taking responsibility when needed
  • Empathetic and supportive, capable of understanding pupil needs, managing behaviour positively and building strong relationships
  • Able to establish constructive relationships with students and interact with them according to individual needs
