A welcoming and well-resourced SEN school in Leeds is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. In this role, you'll be working closely with pupils with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties, providing 1:1 and small group support to help them thrive. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and inclusive setting.Requirements The desired Teaching Assistant will have; Ability to relate well to children and adults and communicate effectively at all levelsAbility to deal effectively with students presenting challenging behaviour using de-escalation techniques as appropriateAbility to work independently and as part of a wider teamKnowledge and experience of behaviour management and restorative strategiesExperienced and comfortable with personal careHaving a driving licence is desirable for this role What we offerAs a Teaching Assistant, part of our team, you benefit from: Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system.
